How the hashtag generator works
Type your topic in a few words and pick the platform. The hashtag generator builds tags from those words and sorts them into three sizes: broad tags that name the subject, mid-size tags that add a qualifier, and niche tags specific enough for a new post to stand out. - Start from the most specific words you can type. "Sourdough starter" gives better tags than "baking".
- Use fewer tags than the platform allows. The limit is a ceiling, not a target.
- Never add a trending tag that has nothing to do with the post. People who arrive for something else scroll straight past it.
- Keep a short list of tags that brought views before and reuse them. Your own results beat any generator, this one included.
- Put hashtags at the end of the caption, after the call to action. The first line belongs to the reader.
