Eight networks, eight games

The same trend is a different job on each one. Different clock, different hook shape, a different score doing the deciding.

Treating eight networks as one pipe is the most common way to waste a content week. A hook that carries a TikTok dies on LinkedIn, not because it is weak but because the reader arrived in a different posture. A topic that is finished on TikTok by Wednesday may not have started on Facebook.

The first difference is the clock. TikTok is measured in hours: a sound climbing on Monday morning is often saturated by Tuesday night, so velocity outranks everything else there. YouTube runs the opposite way. A Shorts trend stays useful for a fortnight, and the search demand sitting under it can run for years. LinkedIn is slower again and wants a different hook shape entirely, because nobody opens LinkedIn to be entertained.

The second difference is what each network is for. Reddit is where the objections live, phrased in your buyers’ own words, which is raw material no polished feed hands you. Instagram pays for visual craft and a withheld payoff. Threads is early enough that showing up still counts. Facebook is written off by people who do not sell to the age group still buying there.

MyTrendView reads publicly available signal and scores every trend against your business on five dimensions: audience fit, purchase relevance, production feasibility, platform fit and velocity. The five are the same everywhere. The weighting is not. Velocity dominates on TikTok, platform fit decides most outcomes on LinkedIn, and production feasibility is the score that tells a one-person team whether a YouTube trend is realistic at all.

Each page below covers what that network rewards, which of the five decides most outcomes there, and three hook shapes that work. No page claims a partnership or private access. Seven of the eight are read from public signal; X is the exception, and its page says so in the first line.

Questions people actually ask

Do I need accounts on all eight?

No. The trends need none of them. An account only matters at the moment you publish.

Do you have official API partnerships?

No, and we do not claim any. What is read is publicly available signal, refreshed every 24 hours.

Which platform should a beginner pick?

The one where your production feasibility score is highest. Filming something every week beats picking the biggest network and posting twice.

Is the same trend shown on every platform?

Only when it genuinely runs on several. Platform fit is a separate score precisely so a format is not recommended where it does not belong.
