Five categories, five jobs

Most of the tools we get compared against are not competitors. They are the other half of the job.

Most people choose the category before they choose the tool, and that is where the budget goes wrong. The five below solve five different problems. Only one of them overlaps with what MyTrendView does.

Schedulers (Buffer, Publer, Later, Metricool, Vista Social, ContentStudio, Hootsuite, Sprout) solve distribution. They start from a post that already exists. They are cheap, mature and better at publishing than we are, and not one of them has an opinion about what belongs in the queue.

Trend tools (Exploding Topics, Glimpse, TrendTok, Pentos) solve discovery. They tell you something is rising, then stop exactly where the work begins: whether it fits your business, which platform it belongs on, and what the first line says.

Video repurposing (Opus Clip, Submagic, Munch, Klap, Repurpose.io) solves production, on one condition: the footage already exists. That condition makes the whole category the wrong answer to "I do not know what to film this week".

Influencer platforms (Modash, Heepsy, Upfluence) solve casting, and their creator data is far deeper than ours. Social listening (Brand24, Talkwalker) solves reputation. It answers what people say about you, which is a different question from what you should say next.

MyTrendView sits in the gap all five assume someone else covers: deciding. It reads your site once, then scores seven platforms every 24 hours on audience fit, purchase relevance, production feasibility, platform fit and velocity, and hands back the hook with the video it came from. If your bottleneck is anywhere else on this list, buy the tool that owns it. The pages below say which.

Questions people actually ask

Which category does MyTrendView belong to?

None of them cleanly. It sits between trend discovery and production, on the deciding step both categories assume someone else does.

Do you compete with schedulers?

Barely. Every dedicated scheduler publishes better than we do, which is why our own column says "partly" on that row.

Are the head-to-head pages in your sitemap?

All of them. Building a comparison cluster and leaving the leaves out of the sitemap is common, expensive and entirely avoidable.

Will you compare against a tool that is not listed?

The 25 alternatives pages cover the ones people actually ask about. If yours is missing, the category argument above still decides it.

Your next post is already trending somewhere.
