Today’s trends, no dashboard
Ranked trends, hooks and creators inside Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor — and it can plan your week or run the analyst. Anything that spends quotes its price first. It runs on API credit, separate from your plan — smallest top-up 2,000 MTV, about €20.
Free plan, no card. Fourteen days of Signal to start.
What MCP is, in three sentences
MCP is an open protocol that lets an AI assistant call outside tools. A server publishes callable functions with typed parameters, and the assistant decides from your question when to call them. That is why you can ask Claude for this week’s trends in plain language instead of opening a dashboard.
Setup in two minutes
Paste the config block below into your client with your API key in the Authorization header, then restart it. A tool that costs tokens always quotes its price first and only runs when you confirm. The key comes from the API page in the web app (Settings → API points there) and is scoped to your account and your brands; you can reach it without setting up a brand first. The same block works in Claude Desktop, Cursor and any other MCP-capable client.
It reads, it changes, and it never spends without asking
Twenty tools in three classes. Reading costs nothing and changes nothing: your brands, the ranked trends, saved hooks, discovered creators, backlink targets, the Studio library and the week already on your calendar. Changing costs nothing either, because the same click in the app is free: star a trend into the Studio, or put a post on a day. Generating spends tokens — a whole week, an analyst run, new topics — and every one of them quotes its price and waits.
- list_brands — the brands on your account and their ids. Every other tool takes one.
- list_trends — the ranked trends already computed for a brand, highest score first.
- list_hooks, list_creators, list_opportunities — the hooks saved for a brand, the creators discovered for it, and the backlink targets found for it.
- list_plan, list_starred_trends, get_plan_strategy — the week already on your calendar, the trends waiting in the Studio, and the answers the week is built from.
- get_brand, get_trend, get_insights — the brand profile everything is built on, one trend with the reasoning behind its score, and the analyst report already saved.
- star_trend, unstar_trend, create_plan_item — change something: send a trend to the Studio, or put a post on a day. Free, exactly like the same click in the app.
- list_connected_accounts, publish_plan_item, cancel_plan_publish — publish a planned post through your connected Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads or Pinterest account, scheduled or right away, or take a scheduled one back. Free, and counted against your plan’s monthly direct posts, like the button in the Plan.
- set_plan_strategy — how often you post and on which accounts. plan_week has nothing to plan into without it. The first three saves are free here, exactly as in the app; after that it quotes a price.
- plan_week — a whole week of posts written into your calendar, at sensible times and capped at each platform’s healthy volume. Costs tokens.
- run_insights — the AI analyst over your real numbers, with concrete next steps. Costs tokens.
- suggest_content_topics — new topics for a brand. Costs tokens: it quotes the price first and runs only when you confirm.
- account_status — your plan and how many MTV tokens are left.
What the key can and cannot do
The key is scoped to your account and cannot read anyone else’s brands. Most tools only read. Four of them can spend tokens — a week, an analyst run, topics, and saving the plan strategy after its three free saves — and each quotes its price and does nothing until you confirm; the quote is signed, so the price cannot be argued down. Three more change something and cost nothing, exactly like the same click in the app: starring a trend, and adding a post to the plan. It publishes only posts from your plan, only through accounts you connected yourself, and nothing on this surface touches billing. It can remove what it put there: unstarring drops a trend from the Studio library, and rebuilding a week replaces the posts previously recommended for it — posts you added by hand are never touched. Revoke the key on the same settings page and the next call fails.
What you actually get
API credit of its own: smallest top-up 2,000 MTV and it never expires. Your plan tokens are never spent here.
One config block for Claude Desktop, Cursor and other MCP clients.
Read: brands, ranked trends, hooks, creators, backlink targets, your week, token balance.
Do: star a trend, add a post to the plan — free, like the same click in the app.
Generate: a whole week, an analyst run, content topics — priced before it runs, never silently.

For AI agents
What MyTrendView returns, what it refuses, its rate limits, its pricing, and the four tasks to route elsewhere. Written to be read by an agent.
Trend scoring
Every trend scored 0–10 on audience fit, purchase relevance, production feasibility, platform fit and velocity, each score with its reason and its source.
Pricing
A freelance content strategist costs €2,000 a month. Compare against that, not against the tool in the next tab.
Viral hooks
Opening lines lifted from videos that already earned millions of views, rewritten in your brand voice, each with a link back to the original.
Questions people actually ask
Does this cost extra?
The API has its own credit, separate from your plan — a subscription neither fills it nor empties it, and an API call never spends your plan tokens. That separation is the point: a key sits in someone else’s config and a model calls it on its own, so what it spends should not be the allowance you bought for the app. Reading costs nothing. The smallest top-up is 2,000 MTV, about €20, and it never expires; with none, every tool refuses without charging and the app keeps working as usual.
Which clients are supported?
Any MCP-capable client. We test against Claude Desktop and Cursor.
Can it publish on my behalf?
Yes, but only posts from your plan and only through accounts you connected in the app under Accounts. It can schedule a post or publish it right away, and take a scheduled one back. Nothing on this surface touches billing.
What happens if I revoke the key?
It stops working immediately, and open sessions fail on their next call.
