Best influencer discovery tools
Reach is easy to buy. The harder question is whether the list is still true this week.

How this list was put together
Ranked on one question: does the tool tell you what to do, or only what happened? Tools are grouped by what they replace, prices are linked rather than printed, and MyTrendView is listed first because it is ours. Factor that in.
No. 1
Modash
The deepest creator data
Audience demographics, fake-follower detection and historical performance across a database far larger than anything a per-scan search returns. If influencer marketing is a real channel for you, this is the better purchase, and it is not close.
What it does well
- The deepest audience data in this list
- Fake-follower detection worth trusting
What it does not do
- No view on what the campaign should say
- Priced for teams running influencer marketing seriously
Best for: Brands running influencer marketing as a formal channel
No. 2
MyTrendView
Up to 50 creators per scan, tied to a live trend
A creator scan reuses the same search queries that found your trends, applies a 50k follower floor, then checks the language each account actually posts in and drops the rest. It reads the platforms live rather than querying a stored index, and the list arrives attached to the trend that gave you a reason to write to them.
What it does well
- Language checked against what each creator posts
- Each list tied to the trend that prompted it
What it does not do
- Shallower creator data than a dedicated platform
- No outreach, contracts or payments
Best for: Brands who need the campaign idea as much as the creator
No. 3
Upfluence
The whole workflow, ending in revenue
Discovery, outreach, contracts, payment and attribution back to Shopify or WooCommerce. Nothing else here closes the loop from a first message to a line of revenue.
What it does well
- Campaign management end to end
- Revenue attribution for e-commerce
What it does not do
- Assumes the campaign already exists
- Priced above most small brands
Best for: E-commerce brands with an established influencer programme
No. 4
Heepsy
The affordable first step
Cheaper than the enterprise platforms, with a usable free tier and filters for location and engagement that hold up. A sensible first creator tool, and an easy one to outgrow.
What it does well
- Affordable, with a usable free tier
- Location and engagement filters that hold up
What it does not do
- Shallower data than Modash
- Discovery only, no campaign layer
Best for: Small brands running their first creator campaigns
No. 5
Manual search
Free, and better than people admit
Searching the hashtag yourself and reading the comment sections costs nothing and builds better judgement than any filter will. It stops working past a handful of names, which is the only reason the four tools above exist.
What it does well
- Free, and you read the comments yourself
- The best signal on whether an audience actually buys
What it does not do
- Stops working past a handful of names
- No demographic or authenticity data
Best for: Anyone approaching fewer than ten creators

Questions people actually ask
Why is a competitor ranked first?
Because on creator data depth Modash is plainly better than us, and a list that pretended otherwise would not be worth your time.
How stale do these databases get?
Stale enough to change the outreach. A noticeable share of any exported list has stopped posting or moved category within a year, and nothing in the export says which rows those are.
What follower count should I target?
In most categories recency beats size. A 61k account that posted about your category this week is worth more than a 400k account that has not touched it in a year.
Do any of these handle payment?
Upfluence does, end to end. Ours does not, and neither Modash nor Heepsy closes that loop the same way.
