Why people look for an alternative

Brandwatch is enterprise consumer intelligence: listening across a huge archive of public posts and sources, with social media management and influencer products around it. Smaller brands look elsewhere when they notice they need to know what to post next week, not to search years of conversation, and that the price is set in a sales call.

Where they are strong

Brandwatch’s listening is in a different class from anything we do: an archive of public posts reaching back to 2008, more than 100 million online sources, image analysis, custom classifiers and an AI assistant called Iris. It also sells publishing and influencer products. For a brand that monitors mentions and reputation at scale, it is the right purchase.

Where they fall short

It is built for analysts who turn research into recommendations. Between a Brandwatch dashboard and a posted Reel sit the topic choice, the hook, the script and the slot in the week, and that stretch is where a small team without an analyst gets stuck.

Choose them if

  • You need to monitor brand mentions and reputation across the web.
  • You have analysts and want years of conversation history to search.

Choose MyTrendView if

  • You need this week’s content decided, not a research project.
  • You are a small team and nobody has analyst in their job title.

You can run both. Many people schedule elsewhere and decide here.

Questions people actually ask

Does MyTrendView monitor brand mentions like Brandwatch?

No. MyTrendView does not track mentions of your brand. It reads the comments under trending videos to judge the mood around a topic before you post. For mention monitoring and reputation work, Brandwatch is the tool.

Is Brandwatch pricing public?

No. Brandwatch does not publish prices: each product comes in plans from standard to enterprise, and the way in is a demo with its sales team. Its site lists no free plan. MyTrendView has a Free plan, and new accounts get a 14-day trial of the Creator plan.

Is MyTrendView cheaper than Brandwatch?

MyTrendView is priced in euros, with a Free plan and three paid plans, and the numbers live on our pricing page rather than here. For Brandwatch, the table above links their live pricing page. We do not copy the number over: a price checked once quietly turns false, and holding a current figure against a stale one proves nothing.

Can I use MyTrendView and Brandwatch together?

Yes, and plenty of people do. MyTrendView covers the step before the post exists: what to make, why it fits your business, and the first line. Brandwatch keeps doing its own job around that. Two subscriptions usually cost less than one tool stretched over two jobs.
